TYR CXT-2 Trainer.
This cross-training shoe is an updated version of the original CXT-1, with a focus on enhanced durability, stability, and comfort. TPU Stability Wrap around the sides and heel for enhanced stability, along with a high-density heel foam for a locked-in feel. The Surge NRG foam midsole provides a firm and stable platform for heavy lifting. Reworked upper with breathable engineered mesh and an extended toe guard for added durability. The TYRTAC™ outsole is designed to withstand rigorous activities like rope climbs.
Wider fit, with a 4mm increase in the toe box compared to its predecessor, which allows for more toe splay. The heel-to-toe drop is 7mm, reduced from the CXT-1's 9mm drop.
The shoe is well-suited for CrossFit and other cross-training activities, especially those involving heavy lifting and dynamic movements. It is generally not recommended for runs longer than a mile due to its dense, stable construction.
