Stoody® Tube Borium® H Welding Rod measuring 3/16" Dia X 28" is a bare rod manufactured by metering special mesh sizes of tungsten carbide particles into thin tubes. It was developed for hardfacing of drill bits to use in hard rock areas. It is impact resistant and can be used in multiple layer applications. It involves oxy-acetylene and gas tungsten arc welding process that is ideal for welding churn drills, rotary drill bits, cable tools, re-tipping drill bits.
