We want to see more silver parts on bikes! The standard 1987 group is stunning and well thought out, but with a high barrier to entry it is out of reach for many consumers. We chose to put together our own pared-down version of the 1987 groupset, making it more accessible for more riders. Everything you need with none of the frills, because we know not everyone wants a power meter, a four-port charger, or an extra Pod shifter. 

This SRAM limited edition '1987' T-type Eagle Transmission Power Meter groupset features a combination of T-Type Ecosystem components of which SRAM is most proud, all in an exclusive silver finish. The Eagle Transmission 1987 Collection takes the most advanced aluminum crankset they’ve ever made, and we paired it with Wolf Tooth's new Raw Aluminum chainring. While the cassette’s architecture is rooted in the design of their lightest weight MTB cassette, XX SL, they were able to shave off an additional 25 grams from without sacrificing performance or durability. Same 12-Speed 10-52t range, same renowned best shift under load quality. The 1987 Collection T-Type chain features hollow links, hollow pins, and a Hard Chrome coating pushing the strength-to-weight ratio to an unprecedented level.
