The Makita 40V max XGTÆ 6 Quart HEPA Filter Backpack Dry Vacuum (GCV08) is a powerful and portable clean-up solution that eliminates extension cords that trail corded backpack vacuums. The Backpack Dry Vacuum features over 2X more suction power with 85 CFM and 80"" water lift*.

The GCV08 features an efficient two stage HEPA filtration system that captures 99.97% of particulates .3 microns and larger.

For two-times longer run time, the vacuum features an auto-switching two-bay battery system allowing the user to get more work done. The six-quart capacity is portable and allows the user to navigate obstacles without trailing a vacuum behind them, as well as for overhead cleaning and cleaning in limited spaces.

The backpack vacuum features 4-speed power selection for power level choices and run time management.

It features one hour of run time on power level 3 with two 40V max XGTÆ 4.0Ah batteries, (kit model includes one 40V XGTÆ 4.0Ah battery). Convenience features include a built-in L.E.D.

Light on the controller that illuminates the work area, a stopper that prevents the cover from closing without the dust bag installed, and padded shoulder straps and waist belt with multiple adjustments for improved fit and comfort.

The GCV08 also includes an anti-static hose (1-1/4"" x 32""), an aluminum telescoping wand, and a 12-1/2"" floor nozzle for janitorial applications. XGTÆ is a system of equipment, tools, batteries, and chargers utilizing 40V max lithium-ion batteries.
