This is an original Limited-edition reprint #154 of 500 of the piece titled Old Friends painted by Sue Poeteete and signed by Emmett Kelly Jr in 2005 just prior to his death on November 29th 2006 at the age of 82.
The print itself measures 13 inches by 20 inches.
With the mat the measurements are 19 inches by 26 inches.
The print is in good condition. It does have a few spots where it looks like something rubbed against it resulting in a few faint lines visible in the photos. No color is missing and looks great. The mat has damage visible in the photos.
This painting depicts Emmett Kelly Jr standing in front of the United States Flag displaying his medal on his tattered military issue jacket. I feel that this is a very powerful piece capable of grabbing onto a large range of emotions and could hit different for everyone. You can feel the pride, the pain and the sacrifice.
