This is a gorgeous vintage Tadashi Shoji evening gown. Timeless silhouette with a high neck and straight skirts. This is a spectacular example of Shoji's early special occasion gown designs. Shoji is known as a creative artist as well as a luxury clothing designer. In the '80s, Shoji worked alongside Whitten, who created designs for musicians including Elton John, Stevie Wonder, Neil Diamond, The Jacksons, and Earth, Wind, & Fire. This dazzling piece exemplifies his dedication to figure flattering, artistic designs. The high neck bodice is delicately hand beaded with white glass seed beads in a floral pattern. The bodice finishes at the natural waist, where it meets a layered flowing skirt with a black mesh overlay. This unique vintage designer piece is sure to stun.
