VINTAGE 1960s HERMES LARGE SILK SCARF "Le Clefs"
This is a gorgeous large Hermes scarf in the "Les Clefs" (The Keys) pattern. It's heavy silk twill with rolled hems in gold, rich blue, and white. When you run your fingers along it, it has this "swish" of rich silk. Hermès produced The Keys or" Les Clefs", designed by Caty Latham in 1965. This design is one of the exceptions to the general rules, as the GENUINE scarf has neither the title or artists signature.
In excellent shape except for two stains on the white background. I did not attempt to remove them. The middle design is a golden medallion with a dark blue center, accented with gold fleur-de-lis and rich blue tassels. Authentic "Hermes Paris" logo and rolled hem. 34.5 x 34.5 inches.
