Authentic vintage $1 casino chip from the iconic Desert Inn in Las Vegas, Nevada. This clay mold chip features a green/olive base with an inlay that reads “Desert Inn – $1.00 – Las Vegas, Nevada” in classic black and red print. A true piece of old-school Vegas gambling history.
Fun Fact:
The Desert Inn opened in 1950 and was one of the first luxurious hotel casinos on the Las Vegas Strip. It hosted celebrities like Frank Sinatra and became part of Vegas’ golden age. The property was eventually demolished in 2001 to make way for the Wynn Las Vegas resort. This $1 chip hails from the earlier days of the casino’s long run and remains a favorite among chip collectors and Vegas historians.
