Mayan Aztec Life and Death Wooden Totem Mask Wall Hanging-Hand Made 15" RARE

I found this while traveling mexico. This mask is made by Mayans near chichen itza. The mayan artist make these hand crafted and painted masks. I bought it because it was very beautiful and I wanted to support them. The story behind this mask is "life and death" as you can see from the half of the face of the mask depicting a skull and the other a normal face. The style of mask is actually Aztec, but it was indeed made by a Mayan artist. I wanted a mayan mask, although this one was so beautiful and I liked the life and death meaning behind it. The mask itself has a lot of weight to it, is not made of cheap wood!
