This is a DVD copy of the Disney classic "Song of the South," which was originally released in 1946. The film is a blend of live-action and animation, and is based on the collection of Uncle Remus stories by Joel Chandler Harris.
It's worth mentioning that the world-famous ride and attraction based upon this film, named "Splash Mountain" located in both Disney World, Orlando and Disneyland, Anaheim, are permanently closing.
There was a great deal of controversy surrounding this film due to perceived racism that led to it no longer being released, making it a great collector's item for Disney fans.
