Beautiful and rare 1970s Jesper Nyeboe gown in need of repair.

Flowing, floor length and with a full skirt (and tulle-type underskirt). No fabric label but seems to be a cotton/linen blend. Salmon bodice with grey skirt.

Some holes and small tears in lower skirt.

Size unknown but it’s tiny. Maybe a 2 - seems made for a ballerina’s figure.

From a smoke free home. Offers always welcome!

Sven Jesper Nyeboe was born in Rodby, Denmark. In 1968, Nyeboe came to New York and worked as an assistant to Anne Klein, then joined Geoffrey Beene. In 1976, he joined Gloria Vanderbilt, who was establishing a house under her name. For several years in the late 1970’s he designed under his own name, Jesper Nyeboe.
In 1980, he returned to Mr. Beene, then finally worked for Hanae Mori in Paris. He passed away in 1989.
