This is such a sweet painting of a little girl holding a bouquet of flowers. The portrait is painterly & flowers are done in a more abstract impressionist style. The girl is against a gradient background that almost looks like a sky at sunset. The girl has a straw hat on & is holding it and a pink shirt with blue ribbon. It comes framed in a gold frame & is signed by the artist Maria.
This painting just makes me smile & would be wonderful in a nursery or a child’s room. The framed painting measures 17” long and 21.5” tall. There is something dings & scratches in the frame, especially at corners & small shallow gouges the color was fixed but making note as being transparent as this is vintage & not unexpected. This is a real painting & included close up photos to show the paint texture & brushstrokes.
