This extremely rare antique board and card game was copyrighted in 1941, prior to purchase by Milton Bradley Company in 1946, at which time the board was redesigned, but the basic game was left pretty much the same. The essence of the game is that two players draws cards to obtain certain rummy-type card combinations; the player with the ball calls offensive plays, the other player needs certain cards to be able to defend. The defensive player can also force turnovers. A peg is then moved on the playing board to correspond with the outcome of each play. Requires a standard poker deck of cards (not included) and a peg (also not included) to represent the position of the ball on the playing field. Instructions for playing and rules included.
