From 1968, we have the Mattel Barbie Talking Stacey doll with titian red hair. She still has her pull cord, which works, but she no longer talks. She has lovely hair and a beautiful face that has not yellowed. Some of her eyelashes on her left eye are pushed in and just need a steady hand and tweezers to pull them back out. Her face paint looks good. Her legs are still attached, but the left hip joint is "frozen" and I do not dare try to force it. As you may know, these dolls have very fragile hip joints, so best to just leave it be. The right hip joint moves easily, though. The right knee no longer clicks, preferring to stay in the 1st bend position, while the left knee clicks 3x and holds. Her right foot has some minor dents, while the toes on her left foot are missing. Overall, she is a lovely doll who will display well in your collection wearing closed toe shoes.
