Secondhand/recycled materials: Breyer Classic Mustang Foal
Description: The Classic Mustang family sculpted by Maureen Love for H-R, and then produced by Breyer, are among my favorite sculpts! This is my first time customizing the foal, and I decided she would look lovely as a little grulla! I removed her Breyer logo and seams, carved her ears, nostrils, and mouth, and moved her air hole to between her hind legs. She's been repainted with earth pigments and acrylics, and her eyes and hooves are glossed.
She has a bit of light texturing in her white markings, though her overall plastic is textured as well so it's not that noticeable unless you look closely. She measures about 4 1/4" tall, and is NOT a toy, but is meant as an art piece and should be handled with care.
