Original Peruvian Velvet Art Painting of indiginous Peruvian women.
Painted in vibrant, rich colors on navy blue velvet, this stunning painting is done in the modern/abstract style of Peruvian artist, and depicts a row of 10 indigenous Peruana women toting their bundles (babies, flowers, etc), still a very common sight when you get out of Lima, and one that represents the rich cultural history of the country.
The original painting is hand signed and dated by the artist, Ugsha C. Cesar (I think) 13.
Velvet painting is mounted on wooden stretcher with an attached string for hanging and is ready for display.
Measures approx. 23 1/2" x 8".
