Ideal Thumbelina baby doll 1961

This is an original Ideal toy corporation 19inch Thumbelina doll. This was the first animated baby doll. The wind up mechanism in the back when wound would enable the head to move slowly, imitating an infant. This is the first edition, after this style came the crier and pull string for sound. She is clean and in excellant condition. You can pose her to be sucking her thumb and cross her legs when sitting. Her hair has remained covered and thus is in in very good condition. See pictures. This little girl would be a great addition to any collection. From a smoke free home. She has been my doll since 1961. No returns after purchase.
