Magnetic 12" travel folding chess set is beautifully hand crafted and uses a high grade magnet. To top it, it is crafted in Golden Rosewood and Maple. This travelling chess set boasts a King height of 2.5" and board square size of 1.25". You can turn the board upside down and the pieces stay put. Our magnetic sets are made of Golden Rosewood and Maple (not Boxwood which is a cheaper alternative).
We use Laquer finish which is more durable and finer finish than the traditional buff finish. We also use high grade magnets.
What is Laquer finish?
Lacquer is a clear or coloured wood finish that is dried by solvent evaporation or a curing process that produces a hard, durable finish.
The chess pieces can be stored in the special enclosure that can be used to store the chess pieces when not in use.
