Six-item lot related to the art of Russian lacquerware. Four signed boxes in excellent condition but for the Frog Prince which has a single imperfection in the shellac on the lid. The two miniature boxes are very hard to find.
The two volume set of books by Lucy Maxym are vintage, the first edition, “Russian Lacquer, Legends and Fairy Tales” was first printed in 1981. This copy is the sixth printing December, 1985. Volume II is copyright 1986, First Printing.
