Nice Hurricane Lamp. It looks that the owner of this took good care of it, but I also think that he added a different shade... I don't know if this is the original but isn't that the beauty in the hurricane lamps you can change the shade if you find one that fits, just like lampshades today. It is vintage, it is brass, it has very little to no patina. It has a pull chain to turn on and off the light. Measurements: 23" from the table to the chimney top. 10.5" widest part of shade. Base is 5.5". Chimney is 10" x 4" widest part. The pull chain is 5.5". The shade is a frosted glass and what looks to be etched grapes or berries. Where would you put this? It looks nice near my brick hearth, maybe it would go somewhere rustic?? This works great, has an old cord golden clear color.
