This is a beautiful vintage inlaid wood music box. This is in very nice working condition with the key. This looks to be a burl wood with beautiful flames. The inlay is flowers and leaves of different colors and styles. The lining is red velvet and it is intact without any real damage. It has a little darkening from I’m assuming oxidation or the oils off of jewelry in the bottom. It is very nice used condition, with just very minimal signs of use. It measures 6 ½” by 4 ¾” by 2 ¾” tall. It does wind and plays the song Ballerina nicely. It does lock with the key. It has two stickers on the bottom: Original Deichert Musical Box Made in Western Germany Ballerina and Superstar Switzerland La vie en rose.
