This set is in good used condition. It does show some signs of wear but is functional. Some of the original pieces are missing such as the cargo box and the initial cargo car as well as the magnetic crane. I have replaced these items with similar features from other sets. There is some faint staining on the logs. To operate the logs you push them up to the top of the waterfall and when the trains drive over it releases them down to the bottom to create track for the train to drive over.
