Ultra Rare Vintage Mid Century Antique Green White Ironstone Ceramic JOHNSON BROS Arcadia Scene ATHENA Model Pattern Stick Handle Gravy Boat
This is a uniquely styled gravy boat, as stick handles were not seen as often as the traditional style. This is also a very scarce & hard to find specific piece, as it's made structurally in the ATHENA pattern (vertically ridged edges on white ironstone, but it has the green ARCADIA scene graphic on it. It was made during a very limited production run in 1968. It's confusing because Johnson Bros produced a short lived line named "Arcadia" in 1999, but it has nothing to do with "Arcadia" as transferred to the "Athena" style line. measures roughly 7" wide (including handle) x 3.5" tall/deep x 5.75" long (includes spout) and is in pristine condition, free of any cracks, chips, or indication of use. Sold as pictured.
