First edition, first printing hardcover copy of The Regiment: Let the Citizens Bear Arms! by Harry M. Kemp (Nortex Press, 1990). A narrative history of an American Infantry Regiment in World War II. Rare military history book written by a retired colonel in the U.S. Army. With photographs and illustrations throughout. Jacket now protected in new (removable) archival sleeve but with mild rubbing to faces and slight shelf wear around the edges - including chipping, creasing and small tears. Protective sleeve is reflective, so some unusual light effects are at play in the photos. I can post photos without the sleeve upon request. Boards are straight and clean but with corners bumped. Binding is faintly split it a few gutters though spine is straight and binding remains strong on the whole. Foxing to outer edges of text block and interior side of jacket. Pages are otherwise clean and unmarked. See photos for condition.
