Seals are broken on both sides of the box and 2 of the bags inside the box are ripped (bag 4 - minor tear, bag 8 - ripped off piece left inside bag). Minor wear on the box and white box inside. Otherwise everything else is still factory sealed and all the pieces are included.
Released in August 2016, the LEGO Technic Bucket Wheel Excavator (42055) was the largest LEGO Technic set to date at the time with over 3,900 pieces. Bucket-wheel excavators (or BWEs) are used in large-scale mining operations, used to continuously dig and remove huge amounts of material using a pattern of buckets on a turning wheel. While this LEGO Technic BWE wasnt able to remove massive tons of rock, builders could use the LEGO Power Functions for an array of motorized functions, including forward and reverse driving, rotating the bucket wheel, moving conveyor belts, and activating the bucket wheel boom. The set could also be rebuilt into a Mobile Aggregate Processing Plant.
